The new collectionMeltemi

The sea, fired at 1,380°

Since 1931, the KYMA atelier in Athens has painted the Aegean onto porcelain — wave by wave, leaf by leaf, ray by ray.

Our catalogue is never photographed — it is illustrated. Every piece, a plate drawn by the atelier.

“The table is a shoreline”

It is laid the way a wave withdraws: with an order that looks like chance. Plates like pebbles, gold rims like sun on water, linen that ripples.

By hand

Every motif is screen-printed and applied by hand; no two kiln loads emerge alike.

1,380 degrees

The porcelain is fired twice; colour is locked inside the glaze, not upon it.

Athens

Designed, fired and packed in our atelier beneath the Acropolis.

Letters from the Maison
